Last week I participated in the Killerblatt Tourney. It was supposed to be a 20 table tournament but the organizers shortly decided to add more tables after they overbooked the pre-registration without extending the price pool. You had to win your first table which was 8-handed to advance to the finals (which started with three tables now).
The experience was fun because it was my first bigger live poker tournament. Most player were amateurs and didn't even know the rules - which was a bit annoying when they were up for dealing. The blind structure was very tough, because the big blind nearly doubled up ever 10 minutes, so it became pretty much gambling after a short time. At my table two people were knocked out in the first two hands, there was only one serious guy and one very agressive. The rest played too bad or tight to be really dangerous.
I advanced to the final table and finished in 10. place. Unfortunately only the top 3 ranks were really payed (iPhone, Poker Surface, Chips-Set) and place 4 to 9 became a free entry for the next tournament. I decided to not participate in further tournament but probably I will show up there again to rock some Sit & Go tables :) (Good payment structure there but very high rakes on the entry fee)
Here a picture before the beginning of the tournament (hey there was really air in the room at some point):

Today I saw a marked down WilsonK145 racket and couldn't resist to buy it. It's one of the top rackets from Wilson. Also I bought a dunlopdouble yellow ball. I'm interessted how different it is from the one dot one which we usualy use.
Here a picture of the new racket:
Update: My friend just called me, no Squash tomorrow :(( But I realized that my grip tape is white (and not black as on the picture) which looks ways better :)

Yesterday I found my old RC car and tried to get it running again. The transmission doesn't sound so well, the dampers are completely not working (I hope I have only to refill some oil) and the tires are death too.
After some hours of cleaning and try and error I managed to start the engine again. I hope we can do a little test drive today after spending some love to the dampers.

The 48h trip to Hamburg was very nice and ways too short. Züri didn't manage to advance in the uefa cup but that was somehow a expected result since they would have needed a 3:0 victory.
Our hotel room door:
Aaand then I found the source of all gadgets:
We were in a bar called "Goldfischglas" they had a nice interactive table. On the upside was some kind of display (I think they used a beamer under the table) which was covered with water. If you touched it the elements moved like that:
Today I got back from Hamburg (some pictures from there will follow later or tomorrow :)) and managed to get my new Neutrik plug from the postal office.
First impression: Very very nice plug :)
Second impression: WTF! http://www.musik-produktiv.ch where I ordered the new plug charged me 15!! CHF for paying via CreditCard (that was NOWHERE! mentioned) and another 9 CHF for the shipping. That makes a total of 30 CHF for a little plug which is about half of the headphones cost, but I saw a lot of people getting ripped-off in St. Pauli so nothing new here :(
About the actual replacement job. First thing I burned away the paint isolation of the sound wires. I did it with the torch function of my gas-soldering iron which work very well.
Then I soldered it to the plug. First time I messed up left an right so I had to resolder :( (Actually I realized my soldering skills do really suck so this does probably look very weak to you)
The last step is to put evrything inside the case. Somehow I can't completly close it but the winding should be long enough to keep it together nicely as it is.

A nice new Weller WP2 Pyropen Jr. I never had my own soldering iron but sometimes it comes in handy :) This one runs with butane gas and is completly cordless, which means it can easily be taken outside to do repairs on the bike (I sould rewire my light system for a long long time).
I bought it to repair my KossPortapro which has a defect plug. I will replace it with a nicer and more resistant one from Neutrik. If someone is interessted I will organize a digicam (not from the mobile) and take some shots of the repair (but will only be published if I succeed ;)
Here is a picture from the pyropen after unpacking and filling with gas:
